About DAAM

The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) was established under Amiri Decision No. 44 of 2010 to support social, sporting, cultural and philanthropic activities and to advance sustainable community development, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.

DAAM is a national partner in community development and in improving quality of life in the State of Qatar. It directs its resources — principally contributions from companies listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange — to support projects and initiatives with a lasting positive impact across education, health, sport, social development and culture, as well as programmes that empower individuals.

Over more than fifteen years, DAAM has helped establish strategic projects and initiatives that have created and expanded service facilities, supported programmes empowering youth, persons with disabilities and productive families, and promoted social innovation as well as community and sporting participation, in partnership with state institutions and specialised national entities.

DAAM fulfils this role out of a sense of national responsibility, and with a clear awareness of its contribution to advancing Qatari society and fostering a culture of giving and sustainable partnership.
